Mrs. Speerly Dies Thursday

Mrs. William Speerly, 69, a Node resident for 42 years, died at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital last Thursday. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Peet Mortuary with burial in the Lusk Cemetery.

The Rev. Harold Brink of the Open Bible Church officiated at the services. Mrs. Lyle Eddy, Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Clark Germann sang, "How Great Thou Art" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.

Casketbearers were John Bruegger, Pete Germann, Ralph Sides, Paul Pfister.

Mrs. Speerly was born July 28, 1896 in Fruitigen, Switzerland and came to America in 1917 to live with an uncle in Missouri. In 1917 she came to Wyoming and settled near Node. She and William Speerly were married in 1924.

Survivors include her husband, William, a son, Edward and a daughter, Rose, all of Node, and five sisters and two brothers all of Switzerland.
