Services for Robert Thomas Held Jan. 24
Funeral services for Robert M. Thomas, former Niobrara County resident, were held at the Hillcrest Memorial Chapel in Bonners Ferry, Ida., January 24.
Mr. Thomas was born at Kirtley and spent most of his youth at Harrison where he was reared by his grandparents. He married Ida Irene Shatto in 1928 at Custer and they were the parents of one daughter. The couple resided in various ranches in Niobrara County until moving to Idaho in 1942. At the time of his death they were operating a dairy farm. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. May Johnson, Davenport, Wash.; his mother, Mrs. L. L. Wills, Cheyenne; two brothers, Albert Thomas of Fort Laramie, and William T. Wills, Casper; and two grandchildren.
