Frank Tlustos, Crawford Dies At Field Mon.

Frank Tlustos, 84, died shortly before noon, Monday, Jan. 31 from an apparent heart attack suffered just after he arrived at the home of the Bud Ellis family. He and his son, Rupert had just come to the door when Mr. Tlustos collapsed. He was brought inside by his son and Mrs. Ellis who called the Marathon Oil Company for the resuscitator. Elmer Slothower, Walter Hilliard, Jack Green and Eugene Martin came immediately but it is believed that he died immediately. The ambulance from Lusk was called. The body was cremated in Denver and burial will be on the family farm near Crawford.

Dave Ellis took Rupert to his home in Crawford so that other relatives could be called. He is survived by his wife, son Rupert and two daughters in Colorado. A son died here last summer. The family was well-known in this area because of earth construction work done for ranchers.
