Milton Weber died March 29

The funeral for Milton Earl Weber who died March 29 was Monday afternoon in Lusk. Weber was 62. He died at the American Cancer Research Center in Denver, Colo.

He was born Sept. 10, 1915 at Red Cloud, Neb., the son of Earl and Florence Guy Weber. Educated in Hastings, Neb., he married Sylvia Scott in 1934 and they moved to Bridgeport, Neb., where he worked on a ranch. They had four children.

In 1947 Weber married Lois Walker in Jay Em and they lived in Scottsbluff for a year before moving to Rawlins where they lived until 1960. After living a year in Lakewood, Colo., they moved to Lusk where they lived until Milton's death.

For many years Milton was a truck driver for the Hunt Oil Co. and Ted Newman. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Rawlins.

He and Lois had three daughters and one son.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son. He is survived by his wife Lois; children Dorothy Meyer of Tuthill, S.D., Luella Ostergaard of Hayfork, Calif.; Jolyene Schmidt of Escalon, Calif.; Sandy and Shary Weber of Rawlins, Tom Weber of Douglas, and Dixie Lemons of Lusk.

He is also survived by one brother, J.D. Weber of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five sisters, Millie Goodell, Franklin, N.C.; Maybelle and Dorothy Karsting of Hastings; June Karsting of Westminster, Calif.; Eileen Cooper of Hanover, Penn., and eight grandchildren.

The funeral was Monday afternoon at the Peet Mortuary Chapel and the Rev. Ron Marshall presided. Organist was Edna DeCastro and the soloist was Rick Kilmer. Songs were "What a Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Rock of Ages."

Pallbearers were Bob Moore, Vern Brodsho, Roger Bonsell, John Bonsell, Bob Bonsell and C. T. Bonner

Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
