Former Resident Dies in Billings
Bert Wells, a former resident of the field, died in Billings, July 1 following a short illness. While in Lance Creek he was employed by the Continental Oil Company in the production department. He and his wife left Lance Creek in the early 1960's and moved to Casper and then on to Billings.
Funeral service was held in Billings last Wednesday at the Michelloci-Fowyess Funeral Chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; one daughter, Fern Talbert also of Billings and two grandchildren, Rita Fern Maulton and Flynn Talbert.
