Sandra Kay Zimmerman

Services for Sandra Kay Zimmerman, age 29, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1989 in the Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Glenn Bugher officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Sandra died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1989, in Cheyenne from injuries received from being struck by a car. She was born March 26, 1960, at Cozad, Neb., the daughter of Harold Lee and Orvilla Darlene (Fanter) Zimmerman.

She attended schools in Cozad, North Platte, and Mitchell, Neb., and Torrington, Wyo.

She married Robert Green Jr. on Nov. 27, 1975, at Morrill, Neb. To this union two daughters were born KaSaundra Kay and Mandy Mae. On Feb. 2, 1985, she married Lloyd C. Stallman at Lusk. To this union one daughter was born, Dawn Denise.

Sandra was a avid ABATE supporter and attended all the poker and support runs for the Lusk Headstart, the Niobrara Nursing Home and the Christmas Toy Run, and anywhere else she was able to go. Sandra had an enormous host of friends and helped anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cassie and Walter Fanter, and by her paternal grandparents, Lillian and John Zimmerman.

Survivors include her three daughters, KaSaundra and Mandy of Torrington and Dawn of Lusk; her parents, Darlene and Dennis Gulley of Lusk and Harold and Dora Zimmerman of Crosbyton, Texas; 15 brothers and sisters, Brad and Betty Zimmerman of Apachie Junction, Ariz.; Doug and Linda Zimmerman of Great Falls, Mont.; Rhonda and Frankie Woyak, Cassie and Ray Oaks, Dennis Gulley Jr., Kevin Gulley, Johnna Zimmerman, and Duane Messmer all of Torrington; Carey Gulley and Robert Lopas serving with the U.S. Army in Germany; Justin Gulley of Lusk; Abbie, Adela, Anna, Vera and Petra Lopaz all of Crosbyton, Texas; Cindy and Tom Collins of Wheatland; Robert Heth and Esther Ommens of Lusk; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, several foster-brothers and sisters, and her special friend and sidekick, Duane Predmore of Lusk.

Memorials to the family or to ABATE of Wyoming in care of Jim McNeil. P.O. Box 692, Lusk, Wyoming, will be appreciated by the family.

An ABATE motorcycle escort preceded the procession to the cemetery.

Peet Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
