Services were held February 13, 1995, for former Niobrara County resident-Susan Frye Dean, 73, at the Rill Chapel of the Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard, Washington.
Mrs. Dean died Feb. 8, 1995 at Port Orchard. She was born September 1, 1921, at Hat Creek. She graduated from Lusk High School in 1939. She was employed as secretary of the Puget Sound Naval shipyard. On Dec. 17, 1943, she married Ernest "Tuffy" Dean in Lusk. She is survived by her husband of Port Orchard; one sister - Doris Candelario of Casper, her daughters, Kim Mayhue of Casper, Carol Riedel of Port Orchard and Debra Beall of Denver, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
