Frances Bible Dies, Funeral Service Here

Funeral service was held Monday at the Peet Chapel at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Wayne (Frances O.) Bible. Mrs. Bible died Thursday at Torrington.

The Rev. Fred Bolinger conducted the service with Mrs. J. P. Watson organist. Mrs. Paul Morgan and Mrs. Pete Germann sang "In the Garden" and "The Old Rugged Cross".

Honorary pallbearers were L.T. Bonner, Jess York, Chester Burke, Wade Fowler, Wilber Wright, Dan Dielman, and A. F. DeCastro.

Casket bearers were Gene Harris, Ted Pennington, Bebe Reed, Walt Reed, Richard Kant, and Dale Fullerton.

Frances O. Maxwell was born to James H. and Eva Foster Maxwell August 20, 1907, at Astoria, Ill. She attended school at Astoria and took nurses training at Macomb, Ill.

She married Wayne Bible January 7, 1928 at Rushville, Ill. They moved to the Bible ranch at Lost Springs in 1942. In 1954 they moved to Douglas and in 1957 came to Lusk. Mrs. Bible worked for the J.C. Penny Co. until they closed the Lusk store. She then helped at the Ranger Florist until the couple moved to Torrington in 1968.

Mrs. Bible is survived by her husband; one sister, Donna Newlun of Cuba, Ill; two brothers, James Maxwell of Astoria, Ill. and Bud Maxwell of Torrington. Her parents and a sister, Mrs. Melcena Bible died previously.
