Mrs. Immesoete Dies Sunday; Funeral Today

Mrs. Edna Immesoete, long time resident of Niobrara County, died Sunday at the Valley Manor Rest Home in Casper. She had been ill for some time.

Funeral services will be held from the Peet Chapel today at 2:00 with the Rev. C.W. Jervis of the Frist Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Lusk Cemetery.

Organist will be Mrs. A. F. DeCastro who will accompany Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. Lyle Eddy as they sing "Asleep in Jesus" and "Abide with Me." Pallbearers are Jack Magoon, Clarence West, Fred Hansen, Charles Canfield, John Hammond, and Walter Schnorenberg.

Edna Orilla Burns was born to Nimrod and Annie Burns in Bethesda, Ohio, July 5, 1880. When three, she and her family moved to Neligh, Nebr. In 1910 she came to Wyoming to visit her sister. While here she became acquainted with Henry Immesoete. They were married at Neligh Feb. 13, 1911.

They and their three children resided on a ranch south of Van Tassell until their retirement in 1940 when they moved to Lusk. Mr. Immesoete died in 1954.

She remained in her home at Lusk until she became ill six months ago. She was hospitalized for a time and later moved to Valley Manor Rest Home at Casper.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lusk. In her early life she enjoyed working with wood as a hobby and later did a great deal of needlework.

Mrs. Immesoete is survived by three children, William of Van Tassell, Floyd of Lusk and Mrs. Gladys Marie Lau of Casper; seven grandchildren, Darrel Bump of Yuma, Ariz., Tommie Bump of San Diego, Calif., Jacqueline Marie Lau and Mrs. Janet Bell of Casper, Garret Immesoete, who is serving in the armed forces, Cheryl Immesoete of Van Tassell, and Mrs. Joyce DeGroff of Lusk; and three great grandchildren.
