Mother of Alice Garrett Dies in Sioux City
Mrs. Alice Garrett received a telegram Saturday morning stating that her mother, Mrs. Della A. Fehlhafer of Sioux Falls, So. Dak., who was 89, had died in her sleep Friday night, Jan. 2.
Mrs. Lulu Deuel took Mrs. Garrett by car to Sioux Falls, leaving here Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were to be conducted in the Episcopal church at Sioux Falls on Tuesday and burial in the cemetery of that city.
Mrs. Fehlhafer made her home with two sons, Charles and William Fehlhafer, other survivors. another son, Frank Fehlhafer of Worthing, S. Dak., and four daughters, Mrs. Lucile Hassing, Sleepy Eye, Minn., Mrs. Tillie Riner, Lennex, S. Dak., Miss Ada Fehlhafer, Aberdeen, S. Dak., and Mrs. Garrett, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
