Grandmother of Mrs. Phil Brickell Dies

Mrs. Phillip Brickell of this city received word of the death of her grandmother, Mrs. H.E. Ellis, Monday morning. Mrs. Ellis, 83, had been ill for a short time, but seemed to be fully recovered when she passed away suddenly at the home of a grandson in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Ellis made her home with a daughter, Mrs. D.O. Weatherford of Albuquerque, New Mexico, but had been visiting with relatives in Arkansas and Texas at the time of her death.

Burial will be made Thursday afternoon at Ada, Oklahoma. She is survived by five daughters, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in 1932.

Grandmother of Mrs. Phil Brickell Passes On Monday in Houston, Tex.

Mrs. Phil Brickell received word Monday that her grandmother, Mrs. H. E. Ellis, 83, had passed away early that morning in Houston, Texas at the home of a grandson, John Christensen.

The deceased had been visiting in Little Rock, Ark., at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Moore and was enroute home when she became ill.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. E. S. Moore of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. P. O. Bowden of Jonesboro, Ark., Mrs. Emma Maundy of Murfreeboro, Ark.; Mrs. Sue Christensen of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. B.O. Weatherford of Albuquerque, New Mex.; two grandchildren, Mrs. Phil Brickell of this city, and Miss Carolyn Sue Weatherfordof Albuquerque, N. Mex.; and two great grandsons, Jim and Bill Brickell of Lusk.
