Father of Local Woman Dies Here

Leon Ambrose Millhollin, 69, father of Mrs. L.J. Stockwell of Lusk, died at the Spencer Hospital here Sunday morning after failing to recover from an operation.

He had come here to visit before the fair, because his grandsons, Jim and Bill Stockwell, were showing 4-H animals, and became ill. He had come here quite often to be with the boys.

Mr. Millholllin has been a long resident of Wyoming, his family moving to Lander valley in 1897. For the past 12 years he had been employed at the Wyoming State Training School.

His body was taken to Lander where services were held at the Lander Methodist Church on Tuesday and burial was in Mr. Hope Cemetery there.

Surviving besides Mrs. Stockwell are Mrs. Edna Rousselle and Mrs. Leona Nurden of Denver. Besides the two grandsons here, there is a granddaughter, Michelle Louis Rousselle, Denver; a sister, Mrs. J.R. Mitchell lives at Casper, and a brother, Cecil Millhollin, at Lander.

Woodbine Chapter, O.E.S. and Ashlar Lodge No. 10 A.F. & A.M. assisted in the services.
