Gladys Mae Michael
A memorial service was held Feb. 18, 2008, at Hillsboro First Congregational Church for Gladys Mae Michael, who died Feb. 5 of pneumonia at age 93.
Gladys Mae Heckert was born April 26, 1914, in Van Tassell. A homemaker, she moved to Hillsboro in 1939 and also lived in Beaverton, Ore. before moving to Clackamas, Ore. in 2005. She was a member of the church for more than 60 years. In 1935, she married Howard Michael; he died in 1995.
Survivors include her daughter, Babe; son, Jack, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Remembrances to her church.
