Thomas Callicoat dies at home

Funeral services for Thomas William Callicoatt Sr., 31, who died at his home in Kimball was held Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene in Kimball with Pastor Lavern R. Wilson officiating. A second service was held in Harrison Monday afternoon at the Memorial Methodist Church with Pastor Wayne Tieszen officiating. Allen Funeral Home at Kimball was in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Callicoatt was born June 16, 1947, at Corsicana, Texas. He moved to Harrison as an infant and grew to manhood here. He attended elementary and high school in Harrison. He worked in the oil fields, Nebraska Highway Department and Grampy's Pancake House.

Survivors include his widow Betty of Kimball, sons, Tom Jr., and Jason, daughter Terri, all at home; mother Grace Dunlap of Harrison; father George Callicoatt of Atoka, Okla.; sisters Mrs. Joanne Shugart of Leadville, Colo.; Cindy Holtz of Harrison, brothers Steven Callicoatt of McAllister, Okla.; James Dunlap of Harrison, Ben and Joe Dunlap, both of Scottsbluff.

A memorial has been established to the family.

Pallbearers were Dean Lunday, Eldon Morgan Verne Holtz, Darold Abel, Bill Dunn, Clarence Schnurr, burial was in the Harrison cemetery.
