Robert Ilsley Dies From Own Bullet Wound in Seattle

Major Robert C. Ilsley, 36, son of Justice and Mrs. Harry P. Ilsley of the Wyoming Supreme Court died in a Seattle hospital Sunday of a self-inflicted bullet wound.

Survivors include his widow Catherine, three minor children, his parents, and a brother John, County Attorney in Campbell County, Wyoming. He was preceded in death by a brother who was killed during World War II in the invasion of France.

Supreme Court Justice Harry P. Ilsley is a former Judge of the Sixth Judicial District having been just recently appointed to the Wyoming Supreme Court by Governor Barrett.
