Mrs. Roda Wallace Dies at Casper

Graveside services were held for Mrs. Roda M. Wallace, 79, in the Van Tassell cemetery on Monday afternoon, February 4, 1946.

Mrs. Wallace is a former resident of Van Tassell, but moved to Casper some 25 years ago to make her home, where she died Friday, Feb. 1st.

The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. H. E. Zerbe, formerly of Van Tassell, but she has also been making her home in Casper for the past year, so that she might care for her mother, who was in failing health.

Funeral services were held in Casper on Sunday and the remains were then shipped here for interment.

Arrangements here were in charge of the of the Peet Mortuary and Rev. Lawrence P. Juell gave the last commitment. Interment was in the Van Tassell cemetery beside her late husband.

The spelling of the first name was taken from the gravestone. She was buried next to David Battershill, and Battershill is Mrs. H. E. Zerbe's maiden name.
