Erwin Mangan Services Today; Burial at Maxwell

Final rites for Erwin Maynard Mangan, 72, of Kimball, will be held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at Trinity Methodist church, with the Rev. R. W. Dinsdale officiating. Burial will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, Neb.

Mr. Mangan died Monday night at Kimball County Hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1895 at Elkton, S. D., and married Neva Tritt at Cheyenne May 24, 1923. they lived at Elkhorn, Big Springs and Sidney before coming to Kimball in 1908.

He was a member of Kimball Masonic Lodge 294 AF&AM, the Wyoming Consistory of Cheyenne and Veterans of World War I organization. He was a seaman first class in the First World War. He was a retired electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Neva of Kimball; three daughters, Marie Zumbrunn of Fullerton, Neb., Margot of St. Louis and Sarah of Cheyenne; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Plourd of Fullerton, Mrs. Marian Carter of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Neva Hill of Kimball; and three grandchildren.

A memorial to the new Masonic Lodge Building Fund has been established. Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
