Last Rites for Frank Canaday
Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. for Frank Canaday at the Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington. Pastor L. T. Garner of the Seventh Day Adventist Church was in charge, and burial was in the Valley View Cemetery.
Frank Overton Canaday died at Torrington Hospital on September 11. He was born August 14, 1881, in Nebraska the son of Zimri and Mary Elizabeth Hunter Canaday. He married Addie May Hackworth at Seward, Neb., on September 15, 1903. They moved to the Moore Springs Community in northern Goshen County in 1918 and moved to Torrington in 1948.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Bass of Jay Em, and Mrs. Roy McIver of Torrington; one sister, Mrs. Viola Pierson of Torrington; three brothers, Roy and Lee of Washington and Alfred of Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie May and one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Conner.
