Goshen Representative Floyd Kelly Dies
State Representative Floyd V. Kelly, Goshen County Republican, died in the hotel room at Cheyenne Sunday night. He was widely known throughout this area.
Funeral services were being held at Torrington this Wednesday afternoon at the United Presbyterian Church. Both House and Senate were adjorning at noon Wednesday so that members could attend the services. Six from each body are to act as honorary pallbearers.
Andrew McMaster, a close firend who served in the lower house with Kelly for several terms, was serving as an active pallbearer.
It is expected that the Goshen County commissioners will meet within the next few days to name some one to fill out Representative Kelly's unexpired two-year term. The Board will select the successor from three nominations made by the Republican County central committee.
