Earl Banks, Deputy State Examiner, Dies

W. Earl Banks, 55, for the past 20 years a deputy state examiner and well known in Lusk, died Sunday at a Cheyenne hospital.

Mr. Banks was born at Sundance and resided in Cheyenne for the past 14 years. He was a member of the vestry of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and Wyoming Consistory No. 1; a past master of Masonic Lodge No. 9 at Sundance, the Order of the Eastern Star Shrine at Sheridan and of Wyoming Lodge 660 of the B.P.O.E. in Cheyenne.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, of Cheyenne, and two children, Lt. William O. Banks, Chicago, and a daughter, Joan, of Chyeenne. A brother, Clyde Banks, resides in Spearfish, S. D., and a sister, Mrs. Raymond Vines, in Sundance.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at St. Mark's Church and interment was in Beth El Cemetery.
