Penny S. Albrecht died on Nov. 11, 2009 in Madison, Neb. at Faith Regional Health Services West Campus in Norfolk, Neb. Services were held on Nov. 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk, Neb. Interment was held at Prospect View Cemetery in Pierce, Neb. Rev. Lee Weander and Rev. Adrian Hanst officiated the services with organist Sallie Pryor playing "Beautiful Savior". Pall Bearers were Mark Pendar, Eric Brandl, David Bloomquist, David Polt, Brian Suehl and Mike Steno.

Penny was born on May 31, 1969 to Norman and Alyce (Harder) Rockwell in Omaha, Neb. She attended and graduated from Niobrara County High School in 1987. She graduated from Midland Lutheran College in 1991 with a B.A. in Accounting.

Penny married Steven Albrecht on Oct. 26, 1991 at United Church of Christ in Norfolk, Neb. After married, they lived south of Pierce. To this union were four daughters, Megan, Kristen, Amber and Rebecca.

She managed the Ramada Inn in Norfolk. Penny was working in bookkeeping at Great Plains Diesel, Norfolk, Neb. She enjoyed crocheting, photography, spending time with her family and her childrens' activities.

Penny was proceeded in death by her Grandparents Alton F. (Rocky) Rockwell, Alyce Elaine Harder and Donald J. Harder.

She is survived by her husband Steven Albrecht of Pierce, Neb.; four daughters, Megan, Kristen, Amber and Rebecca; parents Norman and Alyce Rockwell of Randolph,Neb.; Two sisters, Jennifer and Mark Pendar of Tsaile, Ariz., and Wendy Hale of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Grandmother Minnie Rockwell of Weslaco, Texas; Mother and Father-in-law Ron and Mary Albrecht of Pierce, Neb.; Two Sister-in-laws, Robyn and Eric Brandl of Meadow Grove, Neb. and Amy and David Bloomquist of Lincoln, Neb.; Two nieces and four nephews.
