John Marsden Dies In Converse County
DOUGLAS - John W. Marsden, a highly respected Converse county resident since 1882 when he settled upon a homestead on LaBonte creek, and a county commissioner for a period of 18 years, passed away at the Marsden home in Douglas, early last Saturday morning at the age of 74.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the M. E. church in Douglas, conducted by Rev. Webster, the Odd Fellows lodge having charge of the burial rites.
