Death Takes Pioneers During Past Week
Silas Alfred Hayes, 73 years of age, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jeff Bolesy, at Ft. Laramie.
Mr. Hayes homesteaded at Jay em 29 years ago, and the past few years has made his home at Torrington. He leaves to mourn his passing three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Jeff Boyles of Ft. Laramie, Mrs. Frank Rider of Grass Range, Montana, Mrs. Harvey Hanks of Glendo, Floyd and Delmar Hayes of Lusk and Billings, Montana.
