S. Harvey Keefer Formerly of Lusk, Dies in Colorado

S. Harvey Keefer, 71 years old, formerly prominent in Lusk business circles, but for the last thirteen years a resident of Loveland, Colo., passed away suddenly as the result of a heart attack in Loveland, Colo, on Sunday, November 1st. Interment was made in the Loveland cemetery on November 4th. After services at the Loveland mortuary, the Loveland Masonic Lodge had charge of the commital services.

Harvey Keefer was for many years a prominent resident of Lusk, and was active in business and social circles. He came to Lusk as a young man and was bookkeeper for the H. C. Snyder Co. Later he returned to his old home in Sterling, Ill., but came back to Lusk and acquired an interest in the Snyder Mercantile Co., remaining here for several years. Upon his retirement from the Snyder Company he went to Loveland, Colo., where he invested in income properties and has since made his home.

Suriving Mr. Keefer are his wife, Mrs. Lottie Keefer of Loveland, Colo., and a sister of Sterling, Colo. Among those attending the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. R. I. Olinger of Newcastle, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Howes of Denver, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Neil, all former residents of Lusk, and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Griffith of Lusk.

Harvey Keefer had a host of warm personal friends in Niobrara County who will be grieved to learn of is passing.
