Found Dead in a Sheep Wagon

It was reported to Coroner Louger Sunday that Pat Cummings had been found dead in a sheep wagon near Harry Boner's place, 40 miles north of Lusk. A gun was lying by his side but it was impossible to tell whether he had committed suicide or had been killed accidentally. As it did not appear to the coroner that any foul play had been committed he decided that an inquest was not necessary and ordered the remains to be conveyed to Edgemont, S. D., where the unfortunate man's relatives live.

He was herding sheep in the neighborhood where the accident occurred and was reputed to be a man of good habits. He is said to have owned about 50 head of horses and a similar number of cattle, so that there will be no charge on the county on account of the occurrence.
