Service Here Wednesday for Phebe Moran
Service was being held here this Wednesday morning for Phebe Fraser Moran, Riverton, a former employee of the Niobrara Memorial Hospital and daughter of Mrs. Phoebe Fraser of Lusk.
She died instantly of a bullet wound early Sunday morning in Riverton. Her estranged husband Roy Moran, 51, has been charged with murder.
Conducting the funeral was The Rev. Robert Boutwell at the Peet Chapel. Mrs. Minerva Watson, organist, accompanied Tim Johnson who sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "Turn, Turn, Turn."
Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steven Fraser, Floyd Fraser, Phillip Fraser, Rodney Fraser, Tracy Fraser and Brad Culver.
Phebe, the daughter of Stanley and Phebe Fraser, was born February 25, 1932 at Scottsbluff, Neb. She received her education in Niobrara County schools. December 5, 1965, she and Roy Moran were married. She worked in nursing at the Niobrara and other hospitals in Wyoming where "a happy disposition and smiles for patients" were characteristic of her.
She is survived by her son Bobby Joe Bejino; her mother, three sisters, Tessie Townsend of Casper, Merna Gabol, Tucumcare, N.M., Anna May Oliver, Lusk; brothers, Floyd Fraser of Casper and Phillip Fraser of Satanta, Kan.
She was preceded in death by her father.
