Dave H. Lawmaster Dies Here Tuesday

David H. Lawmaster, former rancher from south of Harrison, Neb., died at the Lusk Hospital at 5:10 Tuesday evening from a heart ailment.

For the past several months Mr. Lawmaster has been making his home at the Lusk Hotel.

A niece, Mrs. Joy Griffith of Bakersfield, Calif., will arrive here Sunday to make funeral arrangements.

David Lawmaster Last Rites Held

Last rites for David H. Lawmaster were held at the Peet Chapel on Tuesday afternoon, March 26, with the Rev. Ezra Duncan, pastor of the Baptist church of Lusk, officiating.

Music was furnished by Mrs. Duncan and Mrs. Emerson Bonner, with Mrs. J. P. Watson as accompanist.

The casket bearers were friends from Harrison, Neb. Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery.

David Lawmaster had resided on a ranch 20 miles south of Harrison for the past 30 years, but being in poor health he moved to Lusk and for the past few months had been making his home at the Lusk Hotel.

He died at the Lusk Hospital on March 19, having entered the hospital only a few days previous to his death.

A niece, Mrs. Joy Griffith, and her son and wife, Mrs. and Mrs. William Weeden, all of Bakersfield, Calif., came here for the funeral service.
