Raymond C. Edwards, age 81, of Keeline, Wyoming passed away on July 9, 2005 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. A graveside memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Saturday, July 23, 2005 at the Jireh Cemetery on North Jireh Road east of Keeline, Wyoming.
Raymond was born April 9, 1924, in Douglas, Wyoming to Con and Blanch Jones Edwards. He was an Army veteran of WW II. In 1949 he married Lorna Yocom in Omaha, Nebraska. Raymond lived and ranched in Niobrara County most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lorna; three children, Monte of Keeline, Russell and his wife Mona of Cody, Wyoming and Denise and her husband Ron Johnson of Douglas, Wyoming. He will be sadly missed by his three granddaughters, Lacie Epps of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Samantha Johnson of Casper, Wyoming and Jessie Edwards of Cody, Wyoming. Also surviving are five great-granddaughters in Spirit Lake, Idaho; four sisters, Ella Robinson and Marie Straw of Douglas, Wyoming , Pauline Parke of Lincoln, Nebraska and Darlene Schrader of David City, Nebraska.
