Ray Cobb Dies of Heart Attack Monday
Ray Cobb, son of the late E. Cobb, who were in charge of the Flank Oil Company leases here, passed away Monday, February 12 while apparently attempting to start a well near Newcastle. He had evidently had a heart attack.
Bob Hokanson, who is a pumper here for Flank Oil had phoned in his reports to Cobb about 8:00 Monday morning. It was thought he had had the attack about 9:30 a.m. but wasn't found until nearly 3:00 p.m.
Cobb, 41, is survived by his wife, Kathy and a daughter, Robbie Ann and his mother.
Funeral services have tentatively been set for Friday in Newcastle.
Cobb's father, E. Cobb, also died of a heart attack November 12, 1965.
Sympathy is extended to his loved ones.
