The funeral services of Harry Selfe were conducted at the Methodist church last Friday afternoon by Rev. Young before a large concourse of friends. Mr. Selfe was apparently in good health until a few months ago, since which time he seemed to be suffering from some unknown cause. After consultation with friends near here, he entered a sanitarium at Lincoln about six weeks ago, and it was then discovered that he had cancer of the liver, from which he died on the 18th. Mr. Selfe came to this place about 20 years ago and has spent most of the time here since then. By his genial disposition and kindly traits of character he made friends of all. A little over a year ago he was married to Miss Kate Kalber of Cheyenne, who, together with an infant daughter are left to mourn his loss. The services at the grave were conducted by the Modern Woodmen of America, of which he was an honored member. Mrs. Selfe has the sympathy of all in the community.
