Mrs. Robert Schliske Dies Here Saturday

Mrs. Jeannie Schliske, wife of Robert P. Schliske, dean of instruction at Laramie County Community College, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was 50.

Mrs. Schliske, who lived at 3133 White Cloud Rd., had been a resident of Cheyenne for 13 years.

She was born Sept. 19, 1925, in Grover, Colo., and came here from Carpenter.

Mrs. Schliske attended high school at Grover, took nurse's training in Greeley and at Children's Hospital in Denver and also attended the University of Wyoming.

She had taught in the public schools at Carpenter for 10 years and also had been a piano teacher for many years.

She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Piano Teachers' Guild and LCCC Woman's Club.

She is survived by her husband; four children, Mrs. Richard Wright, the former Laurie Schliske, of Cheyenne, Mrs. Randall Rhoades, (Rose) the former Debbie Schliske, of Lusk and Chrissie and Robbie Schliske, both at home.

Also surviving are one grandchild; and brothers and sisters, Ben Konig of Pierce, Colo., Dorothy Brewster of Pocatello, Idaho, Mrs. Emily Brillhart of San Diego, Mrs. Fredman (Freda) Wellman of Cheyenne, Mrs. Martha Olson of Basin, Gus Konig of Grover, Mrs. Mary Kent of Peetz, Colo., and Mrs. Elsie Hignett of Beaumont, Tex.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with interment at Memorial Gardens. The Rev. William H. Borneman will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Everett Rhoades, Dr. Al Wattenpaugh, Dan Sanders, Kreth Richardson, Jim Konig and Don Romsa.

Friends who wish may contribute to the memorial Fund of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Arrangements are by the Wiederspahn Chapel of the Chimes.

Mrs. Robert Schliske Rites Held Today

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeannie Schliske, 50, of 3133 White Cloud Rd., were held at 10:30 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial at Memorial Gardens. The Rev. William H. Borneman officiated.

Pallbearers were Everett Rhodes, Dr. Al Wattenpaugh, Dan Sanders, Kreth Richardson, Jim Konig and Don Romsa.

Friends who wish may contribute to the Memorial Fund of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran church in Cheyenne Tuesday for Mrs. Robert Schliske of that city. Mrs. Schliske, the former Helen Jean Konig, was daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jake Konig. She had attended schools here and was a graduate of Grover High school in 1943. She is survived by her husband and four children, besides several sisters, and two brothers, Ben Konig of Pierce and Gus Konig of Grover.
