Word of the death of Ruth Hassed Mandis of Aurora, Colorado, was received in Lusk Monday, as she has passed away on Sunday afternoon, Feb. 1.

She is the daughter of the late Dr. W. H. Hassed and Mrs. Fannie Nutt, now of Indianola, Iowa, and grew to young womanhood here. She was working in the State Capitol building at Cheyenne, when she met and married Louis G. Mandis.

They are the parents of one daughter, Georgia Irene, and for the past several years have been living in a suburb of Denver.

Funeral services were held from the Moore Mortuary in Denver on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, and the remains will be cremated at Fairmont.

Other survivors besides her husband and small daughter and mother, Mrs. Fannie Nutt, is her step-mother, Mrs. Georgia Hassed of Lusk, who has been with Mrs. Mandis for the past few weeks, as she has been in ill health for some time. She was about 31 years of age.
