Obituary

Eliza Nettie Riley was born at Akens, Mo., Dec. 18, 1886 and died at Kirtley, Wyo., March 8, 1915, being 28 years, 2 months and 20 days old.

Her mother died when she was 4 years old and she made her own way in the world after she was 13; when she was 17, she united with the Christian church. Hers was a lovely Christian character and during her long spell o suffering she never complained, but was always kind, patient and true.

June 19, 1906, she was married to Walter Wallace and three children (all girls) came to bless them. In August, 1912, she was taken sick and all that could be done for her seemed of no avail.

Funeral services were held at the W. O. W. hall, Kirtley, Rev. Long of Lusk officiating and the remains were laid to rest in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The casket was covered with beautiful flowers.
