Funeral services for Jay Ebbert, 31, of Lusk, Wyo. was held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Crawford Community Building. Cremation took place after the services. Jay passed away on July 22, 2013.
Jay was born on July 16, 1982 in Anaheim, Calif. He made a career of painting and being a handyman and a lineman. He loved to create art and poetry. He was a very creative builder. After surviving cancer, Jay lived his life to the fullest. He was engaged to be married at the time of his death. Jay was also a member of the Crawford Volunteer Fire Department and the Lusk Volunteer Fire Department.
Jay is survived by his mother, Joanne Ebbert of Billings, Mont.; Brother, Jimmy Ebbert of Sheridan, Wyo.; Cousin Todd and Tessa Boggs of Crawford, Nebraska; fiancée Mariah Jones of Lusk, Wyo.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
Memorials can be made to the Crawford or Lusk Volunteer Fire Departments or the donor's choice. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
