FORMER MANVILLE MAN DIES IN OREGON

Perl J. Robinson, formerly of Manville, died recently at Eagle Point, Oregon. He was born June 20, 1878, in Whiteside County, Illinois. In 1880 the family moved by covered wagon to Nebraska, where Mr. Robinson grew to manhood and spent the greater part of his life. In 1916 at Grand Island he was married to Mrs. Louisa Moore. After a short time, they moved to Manville, Wyo., where for several years they owned and operated what is now part of the Brooks-Barrett ranch. In 1924 they went to Seattle and in 1937 the family came to Eagle Point, where they have since resided. At Eagle Point they first operated the Eagle Point Fox farm and later moved into Eagle Point, where he engaged in U.S. mail service and painting.

Besides his widow, he leaves two step-daughter, Gertrude McCorkle and Sandra Smith; a brother, A. R. Robinson of Nebraska and a sister, Mrs. Wm. Gomer, Newberg, Ore.

Funeral services were held in the Conger-Morris chapel Friday, with Lloyd Whitford officiating. The remains were then forwarded to Everett, Wash., for interment.
