Mother of Mrs. Jack McFarlane Passes On in East; Resided Here

Mrs. I.N. Gorsuch, former resident of the Divide community and mother of Mrs. Jack McFarlane of Lance Creek, passed away at a hospital in York, Pa., last Saturday, June 24th, according to a message received by Mrs. McFarlane. Funeral services were held in that city Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. McFarlane was unable to go back for the services because of the length of time required to make the trip.

Mrs. Gorsuch was well-known to many of the residents of this county the family having lived here for several years. They moved back to Pennsylvania about 18 years ago, where they have since resided.

Mrs. Gorsuch underwent an operation for appendicitis last week, but failed to rally from the effects thereof. She had been in poor health for some time prior to the surgical treatment.

Besides her husband, deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Irene McFarlane, Lance Creek, Wyo.; Mrs. Rebecca Foose, York, Pa.; Mrs. Merna Speck, Mill Creek, Pa.; and Mrs. Florence Moss, Crawford, Nebr.; and one son, Ben Gorsuch, who lives in New Jersey.

The community unites in extending deepest sympathy to Mrs. McFarlane in her bereavement.
