Stella E. Hall, 82, died at a Scottsbluff Nursing Home recently. She was born October 2, 1890, at Douglas, Neb. She grew up in Lincoln, Neb., and attended school there and graduated from Cotner College before coming to Hemingford to teach. She married Jay Hall in Lincoln in 1912 and they came to Sioux County where they lived on a ranch until 1923 when they moved to Scottsbluff. Mrs. Hall taught at Scottsbluff high School, Victory Hill School and Mitchell Sunflower School. She retired in 1963.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Tom Tully of Scottsbluff; and a son Jay Hall Jr. of Scottsbluff; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Dugan Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with the Rev. Francis Bruce officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
