Thomas Snyder of Harrison Dies Here
Thomas Snyder, 78, of Harrison, died June 5 at the Spencer Hospital following a long illness. Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church at Harrison with Rev. Jacob Nein of Lusk officiating. Burial was made in Harrison.
Thomas Alva Snyder was born Dec. 1, 1878 in Georgetown, Texas. He married Georgia Westmoreland of Guyman, Okla. in 1904. They were the parents of one son, John Alva of Harrison.
Mr. Snyder was in the ranch business for 49 years moving to the family ranch in 1919.
Survivors include his wife, one son, John and three sisters, Mrs. C. A. Wilcox, Austin, Tex., Mrs. D.T. Simons, Ft. Wortth, Tex., Mrs. D. W. Whitcomb, Georgetown, Tex. A niece, Mrs. Bill Nuttall lives at Lost Springs.
