Harold "PeeWee" Allbright

Harold "PeeWee" Allbright, 75, passed away at his home in Lusk Fri., Nov. 20, 2015. Per his request, there will be no services. The family suggests memorials to the Lusk Volunteer Fire Department or the donor's choice.A full obituary will be printed at a later date. Pier Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Harold "PeeWee" Allbright passed away November 20, 2015 at his home in Lusk, Wy.

PeeWee was born on January 3, 1940 in Broken Bow, NE, the son of Creed "Oliver" and Ida Allbright. As a child he lived in Nebraska and California. After the divorce of his parents, he moved to Lusk, WY with his father. PeeWee was educated in Sacramento, CA and Lusk, WY.

He married Marilyn Clocksin on July 2, 1960. After their marriage, PeeWee worked at Crazy Charlie's Truck Stop, Holly Sugar Corporation, Safeway, and Wasson's Chevrolet. In 1974, PeeWee and Marilyn purchased the Coast to Coast Hardware Store in Lusk. He worked there daily until his retirement in 2001, when they sold the store to their son, Terry. PeeWee dearly loved his grandchildren Jared, Phoebe, and Tia, and enjoyed attending their activities and events. He loved sports and faithfully followed the Lusk Tigers football and basketball teams, logging thousands of miles across Wyoming to cheer on the red and white. He was also an avid Wyoming Cowboys fan, and had not missed a home game in Laramie in many years. He spent most Sundays cheering on the Denver Broncos. PeeWee enjoyed playing golf and spent almost every afternoon of his retirement at the Niobrara Country Club. PeeWee was a fireman of many years for the Lusk Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Elk's Lodge and the Niobrara Country Club.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marilyn; one daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Kevin Chant and grandson Jared Chant of Theresa, NY; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Lindsey Allbright and granddaughters Phoebe and Tia Allbright of Lusk, WY; brothers, Robert Fackrell of El Dorado, CA, and Dale Myers of Springfield, OR; sisters, Kay Ottovich, Sacramento, CA, Pat Wagenhals, Mineral Wells, TX, and Sharon Kempton, Lake Elsinore, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Creed "Oliver" Allbright and Ida Allbright Fackrell; sister, Helen Boutcher; brothers, Orville Allbright and Allan Allbright.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial at a later date.
