Horse Kick Proves Fatal
J.E. McCumber, a farmer living northwest of Flattop died last Sunday night at the Lusk hospital from the effects of being kicked in the pit of the stomach, by a horse on last Thursday evening. The accident occurred at his home and as his condition grew worse he was taken to Lusk and on Saturday, operated on, but his injuries were too great and on Sunday night he passed away.
He leaves a wife and two children, a boy aged 10 and a girl age 15 to mourn their loss.
