Adolph "Slim" B. Hennebeck

Former area resident Adolph B. Hennebeck, 91, died Monday, Nov. 9, at Brush, Colo. Mr. Hennebeck was born Nov. 21, 1889, in Germany. He homesteaded in Van Tassell and later worked in Wyoming oil fields at Hamilton Dome and Lance Creek as a field supervisor. He has lived in Brush for the past 27 years. He was a 50-year member of the Thermopolis Masonic Lodge, the Kalif Shrine of Sheridan and Eastern Star.

Survivors are his wife Marion of Brush; two daughters, Mrs. Merna Reed of Lusk and Mrs. Kathy Hammond of Longmont, Colo.; one son, Lyle of Rochester, Minn.; one brother, Ernest of Roseburg, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Sutter of Peoria, Ill.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral service was held at the Gale-Heer Mortuary in Brush this Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Monument Hill Cemetery in Thermopolis today (Thursday).
