Young Boy Dies at Local Hospital
Dewey Edward Brown, 29 months old and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brown of Van Tassell, Wyo., died Thursday afternoon at 5:45 at the Lusk hospital following a ruptured appendix which resulted in peritonitis which caused the child's death.
The baby had been brought to Lusk early last week for examination at the hospital but following the 24 hour period of examination, it was too late to save him.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Van Tassell Congregational Church with Rev. Coleman officiating. Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Ferdie Price, Miss Sadie Price, and Mrs. Sam Guver. Pallbearers were Charles Bancroft, John Stegner, Dale Wales, and Mile McKelvey. Internment was made in the Van Tassell cemetery.
The Peet Mortuary of Lusk conducted the funeral arrangements.

The funeral of little Dewey Brown was held from the Congregational church Saturday at two o'clock, The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Brown extend to them, their very sincerest sympathy in their great loss.
