Margaret Mary Brown
Services for Margaret Mary West Brown, 48, will be held Saturday, April 10, 1993 at Old Ranch in Santa Fe, N.M. Those attending will meet at Archie West's home at 5 p.m. to go to Old Ranch. Call Elizabeth at 505-984-1047 for information on the service. Philip West will conduct the ceremony. Margaret has been cremated. A rosary will be held at Croxford and Sons Mortuary.

Brown died April 5, 1993, at Mott Ranch in Simms, Mont., of cancer. She was born Nov. 13, 1944, in Santa Fe, N.M. She grew up on a ranch south of Santa Fe. She married Richard Bryon Brown Jr. in 1968. She graduated from Santa Fe High School and attended one year of college in Ft. Collins, Colo. and the Academy Pacific Business College.
She then moved to Lance Creek, Wyo., where she lived and worked on a ranch and raised her children. After a brief stay in Santa Fe, she moved to Los Angeles, Calif., to support her sons in their acting career. She traveled on location to various parts of the world while her son's films were in production. She died on a ranch in Simms, Mont., where she died in the house with the love of her family.
She worked as a personal secretary at the Santa Fe National Bank (Trust)Bank of Santa Fe, as a personal secretary at Lusk State Bank, at the First Interstate Bank in the Trust Department and at the Nina Blancherd Modeling Agency. Among her honors in her younger years, she was chosen Santa Fe Rodeo Queen and was active in the drama department at Santa Fe High School.
She is survived by her mother, Eugenie M. West of Santa Fe; a daughter, Carolynn Brown of Santa Fe; two sons, Thomas Brown and Michael Brown of Los Angeles; two sisters, Sue West of Santa Fe and Diane West-Mott of Simms, Mont. and one brother, Russell West of Santa Fe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, on Dec. 30, 1981, and her father, Eugene J. West.
