Warren Glen Broyles

Warren Glen Broyles was born April 15, 1930, at Maysdorf, Wyoming to Eldridge Glen and Carrie Burnett Broyles. He attended grade school south of Gillette, Wyoming and attended some high school. He worked various jobs for his dad before joining the United Sates Navy in 1950. He served during the Korean Conflict until his discharge in 1954. He then ranched in a partnership with his father and brother south of Gillette.

On August 2, 1955 he married Mildred Rae Coldiron and to this union was born two sons; Wayne Joe and Clinton Glen.

In 1971 they moved to a farm near Crawford, Nebraska. In 1974 they moved to the ranch north of Lusk, Wyoming where he remained the rest of his life. He enjoyed raising good cattle, having good fences, and buying and selling cattle and horses. For twelve years he sheared sheep and broke a few horses.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1958, his daughter in 1967 and his mother in 1987, sisters; Edith in 2008 and Nettie in 2015.

He is survived by his wife Rae of Lusk. Sons; Wayne of Lusk and Clinton of Battle Mountain, Nevada. A brother Richard (Lorraine) of Torrington, Wyoming

Warren died on April 20, 2016 at his ranch home near Lusk. A funeral with military honors was held on Monday, April 25th, 2016 at the Pier Funeral Home in Lusk, Wyoming.
