FORT COLLINS, Colorado — Sue Marie Fowler Ellis, 76, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Lemay Avenue Health and Rehab.

She was born February 15, 1940, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Dallas Benjamin Fowler and Naomi Gaumer Fowler.

She graduated from Harding High School in 1957 and attended Kent State University. She retired as head dietician at the Wyoming Women’s Center in Lusk, Wyoming.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, a long-time, active member of the Congregational Church in Lusk, Wyoming, serving as chairperson on various committees and singing in the choir. She enjoyed baking, crafts, gardening, reading, and travel.

She is survived by three sons, Shaun Ellis, Centennial, Colorado; Eric (Christine) Ellis, Windsor, Colorado; and, Gregory (Heather) Ellis, Longmont, Colorado; two brothers, James Fowler, Lewis Center, Ohio and Clinton (Kathy) Fowler, Bristolville, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Suanne Lukehart Fowler.

A memorial service will be held in Lusk, Wyoming at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Allnutt in Fort Collins, Colorado.
