Funeral held for Mrs. Arthur Witt
Funeral service for Mrs. Arthur Witt, 69, who died February 27, was held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Crawford on March 3 at 2:00 p.m. Interment was in the Crawford Cemetery. Pastor Robert Eicher officiated.
Henrietta Louise Witt, daughter of Albert and Emma Peters, was born August 16, 1905, at Norfolk, Neb. She was baptized in early infancy and confirmed in Christ Lutheran Church, Norfolk.
On January 2, 1929, she married Arthur Witt at he Norfolk Church. They made their home southwest of Crawford. Two children were born. Mrs. Witt died at Gra-Mar Manor, Scottsbluff.
Surviving her are her husband, Arthur Witt,; son Gerald, Crawford; daughter Mrs. Donald Williams of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren: Gene, Cary, Michael and Lucinda Witt, Charles, Steven, Judy, Jeffrey, and Donald Williams; one great grandchild, Jessica Williams; one sister Louis Schultz of Battle Creek, Neb.; three brothers, Carl Peters of Fullerton Neb., Ralph Peters of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Alvin Peters of Tacoma, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
