Services for Ada Cook at Douglas
Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Cook were held in the Congregational Church of Douglas, Wednesday, August 27, by Rev. Louis Gale, with interment in the Douglas Park cemetery.
Mrs. Cook was a teacher in the Lusk grade schools for several years and has often visited friends here since her marriage to Thomas S. Cook in 1919.
She suffered a paralytic stroke on Friday August 22, and passed away at a Douglas hospital the following Monday.
Born April 17, 1872, in Cheyenne, Wyo., Ada B. Cook was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Brown. She was a member of the Congregational Church and of the Eastern Star and P.E.O. Sisterhood.
