Anna Bell Leeling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Leeling was born June 6, 1917, and died on Nov 1st, 1918, being hardly 17 months old.

She was sick but a few days with the “flu” and then pneumonia set in and she lived only a day or two.

The hand of sympathy is extended to the grief stricken parents. It is a comfort to know that Jesus has said, “Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for as such is the kingdom of heaven.”

On account of so much sickness in the neighborhood no public funeral was held.

J. J. Zum Brunnen read the burial service at the grave; the little casket was covered with beautiful flowers, the gifts of friends.

Card of Thanks
We wish to thank each and all who were so kind to us during the sickness and death of our darling.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Leeling
Mr. and Mrs. S.J. Leeling and children
Mr. and Mrs. John Swope and children

There are a good many cases of the “flu” here, but most of them seem to be getting along real well. The only deaths are those of Bill Powell and the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Leeling.
