Michael McCarthy Dies Early Sat.
Michael McCarthy, 83, father of Mrs. Carl Bruch, died at the ranch home of the Bruchs' northeast of town early Saturday morning, August 28. His death was attributed to complications resulting from his advanced age.
He was born in Ireland but came to this country many years ago and lived in Thermopolis a long time but with failing eye sight and advanced years he came to make his home with his daughter and family about four years ago.
Rosary services were conducted at the Peet Chapel on Saturday evening following his death, by Father Othmar Miller of St. Leo's Catholic Church.
The body was taken to Orin Junction by the Peet Mortuary from which point it was shipped to his home town of Thermopolis where services and burial were held on the following Monday.
