Heart Attack Fatal To Bert Brenizer

Bert Brenizer, a resident of this community over a period of 23 years, passed away at the Lusk hospital Tuesday, February 3, about 6:30 a.m., following a sudden heart attack.

Mr. Brenizer had apparently been in good health and was working as usual on Monday afternoon when he was seized by a sudden heart attack. He was immediately rushed to the First Aid Station in Lance Creek where he was treated by Dr. Torkelson who was on his regular weekly visit to the field, and the family was advised to move him to the Lusk hospital for further treatment and observation. He was moved to Lusk that evening and the following morning he suffered a relapse, passing away within a few minutes.

Mr. Brenizer was born at Falls City, Nebraska, December 1, 1887 and passed away at Lusk, Wyoming on February 3, 1941 at the age of 53 years, two months and three days. He was united in marriage to Zetta Gay and one daughter was born to bless this union, Vivian, who resides at Lance
Creek.

The deceased had followed the trade of a painter and interior decorator for the past several years. At one time he operated the Northwestern Hotel in Lusk and the family had lived in various sections of western Nebraska and in Niobrara county for the past 23 years.

Funeral services for the deceased were held at Wheatland, Wyoming, on Wednesday of this week and interment was made at the cemetery at that city. A more complete obituary will be published at a later date if available.
